The plates above are resin replicas which I have cast from originals (there is no shrinkage in the casting process).

Above right are the plates from S5542S, one of the 1925 'Thanet' composites running in set 424. The coach was withdrawn May 1959. It ended up as Marine Shop's Canteen, Newhaven, according to the annotation on the back of the wooden backing to the plate (right).
